The QC Ale Trail invites beer lovers on a self-guided tour of the 16 (and counting) participating craft breweries across the Quad Cities bi-state region. Receive a FREE QC Ale Trail bottle opener when you visit 4 or more local breweries. Receive a FREE Ale Trail pint glass when you complete the trail. Be sure to join the QC Ale Trail Facebook group to share your progress and favorite beers as you blaze the trail!

Two Ways to Trail

 1. Mobile Passport: 

Create an account by registering on this website. Login to your account while enjoying a brew at a participating craft brewery. Ask the server to enter their code on your mobile device. Each code will be tracked in your account and you will get an email when you have completed 4 craft breweries and another notification when you complete the trail. You can keep track of your progress by logging into your account at any time.

Mobile Passport Redemption for Prizes:

Do you live in the Quad Cities? - Bring your confirmation email for completing 4 craft breweries to the Visit Quad Cities Destination Center at 1601 River Drive, Suite 110 in Moline, IL, to pick up your Ale Trail Bottle Opener. Bring your confirmation email for completing the entire trail and receive your Ale Trail pint glass.  

Don’t live in the Quad Cities? - Too bad, you should. Anyway, to have your prize mailed to you simply follow the instructions in your confirmation email and forward it to info@visitquadcities.com and indicate where to send it to.

2. Paper Passport:

If you prefer to go old school, you can simply go to the REGISTER page of this website to download and print the official Ale Trail Paper Passport. No registration required. Once you have your paper passport, take it to our participating craft breweries, order a beer and have them stamp it. Note: The QC Ale Trail will not be continuing with paper passports after 2024. 

Paper Passport Redemption for Prizes:

Do You Live in the Quad Cities? – Bring your stamped paper passport to the Visit Quad Cities Destination Center at 1601 River Drive, Suite 110 in Moline, IL. Present it at the front desk to receive your prize.  

Don’t live in the Quad Cities? – Too bad, you should. Anyway, simply fill out the back of your Ale Trail Paper Passport put it in an envelope and mail it to the address shown on the back of the passport. Visit Quad Cities, 1601 River Drive, Suite 110, Moline, IL  61265. Once we receive your stamped passport, we will mail you your prize(s). Please allow 2 weeks for us to deliver your prize after receiving your stamped passport. Note: The QC Ale Trail will not be continuing with paper passports after 2024.
